(1) Nepal Open University has been established to conduct high-level studies, teaching and research in various subjects through the open education system. (2) The central office of the university will be located at a place in Nepal designated by the Government of Nepal by publication in the Nepal Gazette. (3) The University can conduct its programs within Nepal and outside Nepal as per the need.
